Blueberry Muffins

Blueberry muffins are one my favorite ways to start the morning. And today I wanted to share my favorite recipe for blueberry muffins.

The recipe is from The Culinary Institute of America's "Baking at Home" cookbook. It's a great baking book that comes in handy if your a novice or an intermediate baker.

They give great tips like, ...have you ever baked blueberry muffins and they took on a green color? Well, they breakdown the reason why that occurred. They go on to explain why certain chemicals react with each other and how to prevent it.

But lets get back to the muffins. The reason I enjoy these muffins is because they are on dense side without being dry. And they have that taste, you know, bought at a bakery or cafe taste. (A good bakery or cafe.) I can't really explain it. All I know is, I am hooked on them. Go Ahead check my freezer and you'll find a large ziploc baggie of them. But if you try to take one, I'll have to hurt you. Or you could just bake up a batch for yourself the recipe is down below.
